Education Leverages New Technologies

Viborg is the base for VIA University College's second largest nursing education. The programme collaborates with the animation community to develop communication between citizens and healthcare through 'Animated Health'. The social and health education programmes also work extensively with the use of new technology in learning and care.

In addition to the healthcare educations based in Viborg, there is close collaboration with the medical studies at Aarhus University. Many doctors train at the regional hospital.
